M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction

The Master Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction Degree program encompasses the study of curricular planning and development with an integration of technology, assessment and evaluation practices, strategies for effective classroom instruction for a variety of learners and critical issues within the field of education. The M.Ed. Degree in Curriculum and Instruction requires students to satisfy 18 Semester units (6 Core courses), 9 Semester Units, (3 Major Specialization courses) plus an additional 9 units for a total of 36 semester units of credit. Learners have the option of proposing, researching, and publishing a Master's Thesis for 9 additional credits or completing 3 additional courses in public policy, leadership and technology, and global perspectives in curriculum to fulfill the degree requirements.
